Our club takes part in a wide variety of amateur radio activities throughout the year, blending emergency-preparedness practice, on-air operating, and community outreach. Sign-up on our mailing list on our Home page to stay informed to all our activities.
- Allegan County Fair (Friday through Sunday, noon to 8 PM, the weekend after Labor Day): We operate a station at the fair using the club callsign AC8RC, or at times a special event callsign such as W8F. Visitors can see amateur radio in action, talk with operators, and learn how to get licensed.
- Museum Ships on the Air (first weekend of June): We have operated aboard the LST-393 and the submarine USS Silversides, making contacts from historic vessels and helping to promote these museums.

Together, our Annual Events and our Special Events, these events let members practice emergency communication skills, build operating experience, and share the hobby with the community, whether they're newly licensed or longtime operators.
